Santitham
Quiet lanes just north-west of the Old City.
Santitham is a residential neighbourhood just north-west of the Old City, between Chang Phueak Gate and the Nimman side of town. It's quieter and more local than Nimman, with small apartment buildings, townhouses and family homes along its sois.
Food is a big part of daily life here. There are noodle shops and food stalls on most corners, and the evening food stalls at Chang Phueak Gate are a short walk away.
